Halcyon Daze: The Final Voyages of Disney's Star Wars Galactic Starcruiser is a documentary feature film currently in production following one passenger’s journey from casual interest to full on obsession with Disney’s one of a kind, award winning yet short lived, interactive theater experience, immersing viewers in a universe of live action adventure and colorful characters, as well as in the profound feelings shared by dedicated cast members and fixated fans.
As the Starcruiser has potentially docked forever, what will become of this innovative playground that brought superfans together?

Halcyon Daze is a feature-length documentary currently in production. The film will trace the ambitious launch, spectacular run, and crushing closure of Disney World's Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser. From the fan's eye view of director Carrie Coaplen's own journey aboard the "luxury space liner" Halcyon, viewers will experience a unique attraction of dazzling scope, meeting its intensely passionate fan community, and the incredible artists, cast and crew that brought it to life. The film will also feature experts in interactive gaming, cosplay, and immersive theatre.
Halcyon Daze is a passion project. The team is currently working on our time and our dime. We are actively seeking funding and production backing as we continue to shoot interviews with the Starcruiser fan community, cast actors, crew, and creators, to bolster our professionally shot footage of one of the Galactic Starcruiser's final "voyages."
We believe Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser was a uniquely powerful work of art. Those that experienced it often refer to it as life changing, but sadly far too few got the chance to journey on the Halcyon before it closed. The beauty, power, and artistry of the Starcruiser deserves to be immortalized, and shared with a larger audience. Our film will do its part.
